Jashn-e-Rekhta in 360° VR

Culenz captured Jashn-e-Rekhta, the festival of Urdu language and culture, in 360° for audiences anywhere. This page explains how festival sessions are captured and shared with remote audiences.

01 — Overview

A festival of Urdu culture

Jashn-e-Rekhta celebrates Urdu language, poetry, music and culture. Its sessions draw large audiences who come for the atmosphere as much as the stage.

Culenz captured the festival in 360°, so audiences could experience the stages from anywhere.

02 — What's included

The project at a glance

  • Our solution

360° capture and streaming of festival sessions.

03 — Key features

Jashn-e-Rekhta in 360° in depth

  1. 01

    360° for cultural festivals

A flat video shows the stage but loses the crowd, the decor and the mood. 360° keeps all of it.

Remote viewers can look at the performer, then turn to see the audience react. That gives a stronger sense of being there.

  2. 02

    Capturing performances

Poetry, music and conversation each need different camera positions. We place cameras close enough to feel intimate, without disturbing performers or the audience.

Audio matters as much as video, so sound is captured cleanly from the stage.

  3. 03

    Reaching audiences beyond the venue

Lovers of Urdu poetry and music live across India and around the world. Many can't travel to the festival.

360° capture and streaming give them a virtual seat at the sessions they care about.

  4. 04

    A lasting archive

360° recordings preserve performances as an immersive archive. They can be watched again on phones, browsers or headsets.

Festivals can use the recordings to promote future editions.

  5. 05

    360° for other cultural events

The same approach suits music festivals, theatre, literature events and religious celebrations.

Each event needs its own camera plan, built around its stages and audience.

  6. 06

    Coming to this case study

The year, sessions covered, live or recorded format, platforms and audience numbers will be added once confirmed.

Until then, this page explains the format and how Culenz delivers festival 360°.

  7. 07

    Sound for poetry and music

Urdu poetry and music depend on every word and note. Clean sound from the stage matters more than any camera angle.

Spatial audio can place the performer's voice where the viewer sees them, adding to the sense of presence.

  8. 08

    Festivals as cultural archives

Each edition of a cultural festival brings together performers and moments that may never be repeated. 360° recordings keep them for future audiences.

Students, researchers and fans can revisit sessions years later, in a format that feels close to being there.

  9. 09

    Measuring results

Depending on the format, we can record sessions, viewers, dwell time, leads or training scores. The measures are agreed with the client before launch.

We publish numbers on this site only when the client has approved them and their source is clear.

Where figures are still being confirmed, the case study describes the work without them.

  10. 10

    Comfort, safety and access

Every experience is designed for first-time users. We avoid camera movement the user didn't cause and keep sessions short at busy events.

Headsets are cleaned between users, and the headset maker's age guidance is followed. Screen, dome and hologram versions serve people who prefer not to wear a headset.

Our crew briefs each visitor and stays close during the session, so everyone feels safe and confident.

  11. 11

    Equipment and crew

Culenz supplies the cameras, headsets, projectors, hologram boxes and computers each project needs. Everything is tested together before it leaves the studio.

A trained crew sets up, runs and packs down the experience. Spare equipment travels with them, so a single fault never stops the show.

  12. 12

    More Culenz work

Our published work includes the Republic Day Parade and Independence Day live in VR 360°. The IT Day XR Dome welcomed more than 1,00,000 visitors.

It also includes a VR ride for BMW Motorrad and an experience for Audi India. Festivals include a leading literature festival and Jashn-e-Rekhta, alongside a virtual Lotus Temple.

04 — Our process

Delivering a project like this

Every project follows five stages: scope, capture and storyboard, real-time build, integration and rehearsal, then run and support. Each stage ends with the client's sign-off.

The client reviews the work in the headset, on screen or at the venue at every stage. Changes happen early, when they cost the least.

On the day, a Culenz crew runs the experience or the broadcast. Afterwards, the client receives recordings, reports or a handover as agreed.

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree goals, audience, venue, devices and dated milestones, and you sign off the scope.

  2. 02

    Capture and storyboard

We gather plans, photos or scans and build a draft for you to review in the headset or on screen.

  3. 03

    Build

Final models, content and interactions are added and tested on the target device.

  4. 04

    Integrate and rehearse

Hardware is wired in, and the experience is rehearsed at the venue or a mock-up.

  5. 05

    Run and support

Our crew runs it or hands it over, followed by a review and a maintenance plan.

05 — Planning your project

Choosing the right partner

Checklist

Planning a similar project

  • Start with the goal and the audience. A brand activation, a national broadcast and a heritage tour each need a different format and crew.
  • Book a free scoping call, and we will recommend a format, a schedule and an itemised quote. If a simpler option works better, we will say so.
  • Fixed dates, such as an event or launch, should be shared early. Content production usually takes longer than setup.

Checklist

Commissioning checklist

  • Who is the audience, and will they watch in a headset, on a phone or in a crowd? What should they remember or do afterwards?
  • What are the fixed dates, and who signs off each stage? Clear answers keep the project on time and focused on its goal.

07 — FAQs

Questions buyers often ask

Can 360° capture disturb performers?

Not if it is planned well. 360° cameras are compact and placed away from the performers' movement. We agree positions with the festival team and test them before sessions begin.

Can festival sessions be streamed live in 360°?

Yes, where the venue's connection allows. Sessions can be streamed live, recorded for later release or both. We test the venue's upload bandwidth before deciding which sessions to stream live.

Where can audiences watch festival 360° content?

On YouTube 360°, a festival website or VR headsets. Phone viewers move their phone to look around, while headset viewers get the most immersive view of each stage. Recordings stay available after the festival.

Can Culenz capture our festival in 360°?

Yes. Share your dates, venues and the sessions you want to capture. We will propose a camera plan, a live or recorded approach and a delivery schedule for the final content.
