XR experience zones and event domes

Culenz designs, equips and staffs XR experience zones and immersive domes for expos, government events and brand launches. Our IT Day XR Dome welcomed more than 1,00,000 visitors.

01 — Overview

XR experience zones explained

An XR experience zone is a managed space with VR, AR, holograms or dome projection. Visitors move through stations that each tell part of your story.

Zones suit expos, government events, brand launches and festivals. They turn a stand or hall into a destination.

Culenz designs, equips and staffs XR zones. Our IT Day XR Dome welcomed more than 1,00,000 visitors.

02 — What's included

What you get

  • Visitor-flow planning

We plan queues, session length and stations, so the zone serves the expected footfall.

  • Mixed hardware

VR headsets, dome projection, holograms and AR stations combined in one managed space.

  • Trained crew

Culenz staff fit headsets, guide first-time users and clean equipment between sessions.

  • Content for your story

Each station tells part of your message, from a state's IT roadmap to a product launch.

03 — Key features

XR zones and domes in depth

  1. 01

    Immersive domes

An immersive dome surrounds visitors with projected content on a curved screen. Groups share the experience without wearing headsets.

Domes suit high footfall, because many people watch each session together. Content can be a film, an animation or a live show.

  2. 02

    Planning visitor flow

We plan queues, session length and the number of stations from your expected footfall. That keeps waiting times reasonable.

Clear entry and exit routes prevent crowding. Staff guide visitors from one station to the next.

  3. 03

    Mixing hardware in one zone

A zone can combine VR headsets, dome projection, holograms and AR stations. Each format suits a different part of the story.

Mixing formats keeps visitors engaged and serves more people. Headsets give depth, while domes and holograms reach groups.

  4. 04

    Trained crew on the day

Culenz staff fit headsets, guide first-time users and clean equipment between sessions. They also manage queues and answer questions.

A trained crew keeps the zone running smoothly from opening to close. Your team can focus on visitors and partners.

  5. 05

    Content that tells your story

Each station shares part of your message, from a state's technology roadmap to a product launch. We script and produce content for each one.

Short sessions work best at events. We design content to make an impression within a few minutes.

  6. 06

    Measuring footfall and engagement

We can count sessions per station and track queue times. That shows how many people the zone served and which stations were most popular.

Lead capture at stations helps brands follow up with interested visitors. Government teams can report visitor numbers to stakeholders.

  7. 07

    XR zones for government showcases

Government departments use XR zones to show citizens their programmes, from technology roadmaps to tourism. Visitors experience the story instead of reading panels.

The IT Day XR Dome, run with a state government, welcomed more than 1,00,000 visitors. High footfall needs careful flow planning and a large crew.

  8. 08

    XR zones for brand launches

Brands use XR zones to let visitors try a product, ride a vehicle or enter a branded world. Each station ends with a clear call to action.

Lead capture, photo moments and social sharing extend the reach of the zone beyond the venue.

04 — Our process

Our XR experience zone delivery process

Every project starts with a free scoping call to agree goals, audience, venue, devices and dates. You then receive a written scope with dated milestones.

We gather your files, build a first draft and review it with you, in the headset or on site. Final content, testing and installation follow.

After launch, our crew runs the experience or hands it over with training. An annual maintenance contract can cover support, repairs and updates.

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree goals, audience, venue, devices and dated milestones, and you sign off the scope.

  2. 02

    Capture and storyboard

We gather plans, photos or scans and build a draft for you to review in the headset or on screen.

  3. 03

    Build

Final models, content and interactions are added and tested on the target device.

  4. 04

    Integrate and rehearse

Hardware is wired in, and the experience is rehearsed at the venue or a mock-up.

  5. 05

    Run and support

Our crew runs it or hands it over, followed by a review and a maintenance plan.

05 — Planning your project

Budget and the right partner

Pricing

XR experience zone pricing factors

Cost depends mainly on how much content is custom, the hardware involved and how long the experience runs. On-site crew and travel add to event projects.

Reusing your existing CAD, BIM, footage or brand assets lowers cost. Building from photos or 2D drawings takes more modelling time.

We send an itemised quote after the scoping call. Content, hardware, crew and support are listed separately, so you see what each part costs.

Checklist

Choosing your XR experience zone partner

  • Ask to see work the team has delivered, and who will actually build yours. Check that the same people stay on your project from scope to launch.
  • Ask how they test on the real device or venue, and what happens if something fails on the day. A clear answer shows real delivery experience.
  • Finally, ask for an itemised quote and a dated schedule. Vague estimates usually lead to surprises later in the project.

07 — FAQs

Questions buyers often ask

How many visitors can an XR zone handle per day?

Capacity depends on session length and the number of stations. Ten headsets running five-minute sessions serve about 120 visitors an hour, before changeover time. Culenz sizes the zone from your expected footfall and opening hours.

How much space does an XR zone need?

It depends on the number of stations and the formats used. A small zone with a few headsets fits on an expo stand, while a dome needs a dedicated area. We plan the layout from your venue's floor plan.

Can an XR zone travel between events?

Yes. Zones can be designed to pack down and travel between venues and cities. Content stays the same, and our crew sets up and runs the zone at each stop.

Is VR safe for children at events?

We follow the headset maker's minimum age guidance and keep sessions short. Dome, hologram and AR stations suit younger visitors who shouldn't use headsets. Our trained crew supervises every session from start to finish.
