Because access to the Red Fort is limited, Culenz used VR to open Independence Day to the public — setting up capture stations and a central control centre to broadcast the flag hoisting and the Prime Minister's speech.

The challenge

Independence Day at the Red Fort is a defining national moment, but physical access is tightly limited.

What we did

  • Set up capture stations around the venue
  • Ran a central control centre to manage the broadcast
  • Streamed the flag hoisting and the PM's speech to the public

The outcome

A restricted national ceremony opened up to a far wider audience through immersive VR.
